Oh Boy

Sher's at it again. I bought some black yarn to finish a project for our silent auction in September. I got my pattern and the project together and then couldn't find the black yarn. Sure enough, it was in Sher's crate. She helpfully removed the wrapping from it and I think she was trying to roll it in a ball. What a girl.

This evening, she met Bella, Darcy Clemons hound. They came by for a nail trim. Sher was thrilled to meet a new person and she and Bella did well together. This girl knows no strangers, whether two or four-legged.

Sher and Her Crate

Sher is so funny. She's turned into a collector. Last night, Ray had to clean out Sher's crate before she could go to bed. It contained six toys, a roll of toilet paper and one of Ray's socks! This morning, she's spent her time carrying the aforementioned toys from the bedroom to the den.

She crates very well and often spends time just hanging around in it when she isn't sacked out on a dog bed. A happy girl, Sher is an eager learner and very lovey dovey.

Sher's Doing Greyt.

Sher's first few days with us have gone very well. She's a friendly, curious girl who already shows signs of being a collector based on the toys and socks she's stowed in her crate. She triumphed over all the early challenges, including the steps, slick floors and not running into glass doors and windows. She's a bit afraid of our cats, always a plus, and completely ignores them. No housebreaking mistakes...she doesn't even act like she's thinking about it.

She's getting along great with my 3 hounds and actually likes her crate where she lounges in the day time. Television has turned out to be a bit mystifying for her. She watches it but if the images move fast, she backs away. Maybe she's been watching that horror movie, "The Ring." Tried Animal Planet. She got bored and went back to collecting toys.
